opioid and ejaculation in men

Lately, when I take opioid for my pain, I am having ejaculation issues - not able to finish. Has anyone had this issue? I am only taking a 5mg a day of oxy without Tylenol.

Exit, I have looked in the archives & found nothing relating to this. I also checked at Drugs.com to read about side effects. They give detailed info about potential side effects on medications & it was not mentioned there either. Perhaps a consult with a urologist should be considered, maybe a chance you have something else going on.

From a guy perspective, meds can have certain effects on people. Not specifically sure oxy would nor had that experience... but I am on some anti-depressants and SSRI's that can cause some issues there. I agree with Susie though, may be good to check with a urologist.

I agree you need to see a Urologist. You might find the information at the link below interesting. The FDA added to the safety issues of using opiates. This pertains to all opiates. If you take certain other medications. They, alone or combined with opiates can cause sexual dysfunction.
