You are describing Ulnar nerve pain. Get an EMG to find out where it's starting from.
I had an injury to that part of my elbow. Of course, that was the same injury that caused the rotator cuff tear, so they looked at that first. Date of accident was March...P.T. first for 3 months, not better, surgery on shoulder, more P.T. It was July before they even looked at the elbow...EMG showed almost NO activity in the nerve at that point! Surgery to relocate the subluxating nerve was done in August, then 6 weeks in a cast before more P.T. Residual damage...I have about 28% of the nerve function left. Enough to move the fingers...hardly any grip...cold is read by brain as 'wet'...hot is till hot! Lucky me!
Some have had luck with Lyrica/Gabapentin for nerve pain. Won't hurt to ask about it.
