Looking 4 New PM Specialist In Lake Elsinore Area

Hello everyone. I've been in PM for about a decade now. A few years ago I moved to the next county but since it's difficult to find a good PM specialist that prescribes I continued traveling the long distance to see him. Recently he announced his retirement and provided a list of other PM specialists, but they're all in his area which makes the logistics of finding transportation and switching insurance coverage almost impossible. None of the offices I've contacted so far deal with pain medicine, I'm hoping there may be other PM patients who know of a specialist in my area that's taking new patients.

I have a clean treatment history and a referral signed by my doctor dated this month that proves I'm a legitimate PM patient.

Have you gotten appointments with any of the pain doctors in your new area? Some pain doctors say they do not prescribe opiates to reduce drug seekers from coming in

There is no way of knowing if a particular doctor will prescribe you what you have been taking in the same dosage and quantity without becoming a patient and seeing the doctor regularly for at least several months. Some pain doctors prescribe opiates on the first visit and some do not. It is up to each doctor what they prescribe individual patients.
