I'm not a dr, everything I write is strictly my own thoughts. You have done numerous treatments to no avail.
If this were me, I would get the MRI & see the dr in follow up. You mentioned having Medicare, is it regular Medicare or an Advantage Plan?
In the meantime, I would get busy on the internet looking for the best neurosurgeon that is an MD, not a DO. You can get good feedback on Healthgrades & Rate MDs on the net. The reason I would pick a neurosurgeon is they have more training dealing with the nervous system than an orthopedic. I will be honest, I am not much on DO's or orthopedics when it comes to back & neck surgery. When my husband had to have back surgery a little over 2 years ago, he was referred to a neurosurgeon. I checked this guy out & we went to the appointment. Surgery took longer than anticipated, but he has done well since.
Strictly a guess on my part, I think this may be related to the central nerve system, somewhere the nerves are getting mixed signals. You had before surgery, so I don't think it's surgery related. Again, I'm not a dr, just guessing.
