Dear Lakeside,
I have tried those patches for siatica pain, and tailbone pain and it didnt work at all. I mean it was like nothing at all was on me. I gave the entire box to my mom in law since she also had a script for them, but those suckers are expensive! She didnt get any relief at all either. I think it may have an effect better if you are skinny? (I am not that fat, but I mean maybe skin and bones skinny) They didnt stay on well either. Sorry. Perhaps they will work better for you! If they dont perhaps the doc will give you something else? If that does not work, you can always try Icyhot, or Capzison (sorry thats the best I can do on the spelling of that one, it now comes in a roll on, which is great because YOU DONT WANT IT ON YOUR HANDS) It is made from red hot peppers believe it or not, and it feels like a sunburn at first. (test your skin first, my hubby had a bad reaction and it really burned him, we had to wash with dish soap and water, and then cold aloe I keep in the fridge) The stuff works if you can tolerate it, and it works on and off for a week or more giving deep heating relief. The sunburn feeling goes away once it gets down into the muscles. I had to prick it with a pin to get more out of it and rub it on the skin.
Hopefully the patch will actually work for you. Good Luck! Sbella
