it sounds cliche... but i feel like i am dying

Hi Evangeline-nice to meet you~I'm Aggie, I'm 34
I didn't even know that you could break your pelvis from birth, I never even thought about that..wow- now it's bad enough to have the pain from birth it's self! I have three so I remember that pain. Did it happen while you were having him?

I have Fibro and I just started to deal with Lupus, which has so many different symptoms that just trying to figure it all out would make you sick!

Question-have you found a good doctor yet? Someone that will help you be comfortable? Having a good doctor that listens and understands can help so much..What type of meds did they try? Sometimes it takes a while to find that right med or meds to take that help. I wish you lots of luck and pain free days...

I am so sorry to hear,  that espically as young as you are

not that us Old' Mom's  are supposed to ahe painbut I do know   caue   much started for me after teh birth of my 5 th child

my pelvic bone split...

I heard it

I also have DDD, and other stuff going on

sometimes life feels like an upwad battle

My kids are all teens, and   its   jsut like they were still 7

Evangaline, hi I'm 37 and have been in pain since I was 19, so I can relate to how you feel. I started pain management 5 years go and I'm slowly getting some quality of life back. I don't have kids, just 4 legged ones.  Welcome and you will find geat support here.

Welcome here, and you are among friends. I have found a lot of comfort here. I'm 30, and I have been dealing with the chronic pain for at least 3 years. I have fantastic drs who do everything they can to help me. I had drs before in a different state and they basically accused me of pill seeking. (which at that time I was a bartender, so I could have easily gotten anything I wanted) Back to the real topic. I went through a serious spell of depression about a month ago, crying all the time, it was terrible. My PCP had a shrink come see me and he explained that chronic pain and depression go hand in hand. They put me on amitryptiline and zoloft to help- and it has, it has even helped some with the pain. seriously. But I am at another state where I am barely eating, I can feel pain and have knots all over my body. Cancer is first generation in my family. (every generation has died of it) So there are moments I think I am dying. Sometimes I can barely get out of a chair. Sometimes I can't eat. I'm waiting for a rheumatologist appt- thats in Dec. I know the feeling. Sometimes I lie in bed thinking, my god- this is it. I am going to die. I have had talks with my mother regarding my affairs just incase I don't wake up one day. So I know where you are at. But, in truth I miss the things I did before this took over my life. I miss surfing and bungee jumping and even the way it feels to run. I miss the breeze in my face and the sweat. So I know. And, before I came here- I felt so isolated- especially because of my age. All my friends and my boyfriend went to a major theme park one day and the pain was so bad from the walking I had to get a wheelchair. You are among friends here...... I have not found someoen yet I could not relate to. If you need anything, please feel free to message me, or e-mail me. We are a big family here and we all want to help each other.
