Can anyone shed some light on how bad the withdrawals can be after using the 50mg fentanyl patches? I heard the withdrawals can be worse than percocet and oxy but just need some real answers.
Thx Much,
Nic

I have heard they are worse also since fentanyl is a much stronger medication, unfortunately, I do not have real answers for you though. Hopefully someone will be along soon to help.

I was on a 75mcg patch and moved down to a 50 and then a 25. I didn't have withdrawl symptoms, but I did have more pain. I tried too early to get off my pain medicine. I ended up taking more pills because I was having more pain. I think if your pain is under control and it's time to come off your meds then you will be ok. Bump down to a 25 for awhile before going down to nothing. It takes time, but it's not too bad. Good luck. I'm happy you are well enough to get off of them.
