Thanks chutzie,
Gramps,
this info is fantastic. It is so hard to find quality crps info that is not repedetive and uninformative. Its funny, I have just started with boston Pain Care Center and the ketemine procedures are one of the things they brought up to me.(actually ketemine comas) I have had 4 ketemine infusions at the Beth Isreal Deaconess in Boston, but never got any relief. They where only 4-6 hour infusions and towards the last one I had them speed up the infusions to 3-4 hours and I started to feel sick from them so I stopped.
The good thing about this new pain place is they have medication management and they are more than willing to explore any and all medications and combinations to try and get the best results. They already told me they are going to change my short term dillaudid to a long term pain meds along with 24 hour muscle relaxers instead of me taking 2 4 times a day. These are just sample ideas that they have, and It made me think of you because I feel that these doctors are not afraid of using the meds the way they where intetionally ment to be used. (for the chronic pain patient)
I am going to start spending some time reserching these procedures and trials, they do sound like they are going in the right direction and with crps you usually dont have that many options that you truly feel as though they are going to work.
Thanks again for the info and anytime you need vent, talk or anything else I'm all open ears and mind.
Hope Everyone Has A Pain Free Day!!!!
