How long to fill xanax RX?

Hi all, i thought i had lost my RX for xanax. It is dated october 21st. Is it to late to fill orshould i call my doc?

Prescriptions are good for a year.

Call your pharmacist and ask.

I'd call your pharmacist because it is different depending on your state. With a controlled med, some states allow 3 days, some 6 months, some a year.

Yikes, thanks for the reminder. I have an rx for when I travel which isnt for another month or so... hence I have not filled it. I will try to fill it tomorrow!!

Most of the time it is a year, but you just have to make sure your not refilling early cause the insurance company picks up on that and they wont fill until the last script is done according to the directions on the last script.
