Some things my husband understands quite well. The pain, my constant need for pain meds, my slow walk, as well as my need for comfort when it is a real bad day. These things he understands. But when it comes to my sleep pattern he does not get it. Some of it is because I am going through Menopause and I go through hot flashes in the middle of the night and wake up because the bed is cold with my sweat. Hubby doesn't get the menopause thing and he'll never get that cause he's not a woman and never been through these things. But the pain is a different thing. He thinks because we bought a sleep comfort bed I should just be able to sleep like a baby on the new mattress. He thinks I should be able to adjust the air up if it hurts to much but that's not the case. If I go up any further it causes muscle spasms bad in my back and if I go down any more I get more pain in the back so I keep it at 25 and he keeps his side at 65 so he has to watch that he doesn't roll over into the "Hole" as he puts it.

He remembers what it was like to go through the pain that I am going through its just he forgets how much it interrupts my life. I can sleep on my couch a little better but still I only cat nap through the day and night and only get maybe 4 hours of really recoup sleep. Anyway, time to quit whining and take me a little nap. I'm starting to babble and my eyes are wanting to close. Have a lessen pain day hun.

Once again I was up at a whopping 12:30am and gee I went back to sleep on the couch for a couple of hours and was back up at 2:30am went back to sleep at 5 and was woken up by hubby at 6:30 yelling at me for keeping him awake. Ugggg I can't win!! Oh well another day to reflect. I've had for the last two weeks a new problem popping up that I need to tell my doctor about. It seems that I am getting pins and needles sensations in my left and right foot on the bottoms which I attribute to my nerve pain. So I will tell my doctor of this new issue and see what she has to say.

Anyway, I truly hope that your day is a blessed one.

Whoa!

Chest pain? Is this common? You got me freaked out, I don't know you or anyone here but if I were having chest pains I'd be getting checked out ASAP. I'm not trying to be old mother duck, reading that almost made me mess my pants!

Kara reported this on another forum. I strongly suggested that she call her doctor.
Kara, you need to get this symptom checked out.

Whew! I'm unhappy that you've got pain, but glad it's not a more serious, life-threatening issue!
