Scarred,
Forget what your brother's saying. If your dad wanted him to have more of the life insurance policy, he would have left it to him. As it is, he can always sell the house & use the profits to pay off the other debt if need be. Family can be life a double-edged sword. They know both our strengths & weaknesses and can use them to either build us up or tear us down. The lawyer is a good idea. That can put some distance in the situation. Can you get one to work for free? I would hate to see your inheritance eaten up in legal fees.
Otherwise, just send your brother here & we will make angry faces at him for being such a jerk.
I think it's usually best to take medicine with plain water. I do okay with Lunesta but other meds bother me sometimes so I get sugar-free hard candies to suck on (my favorite are the green apple flavor, but they come in all kinds). Have you tried laying down with the lights out when you first take the Lunesta? I'm sure you probably have. I'm never tired when I take it, but my doc told me to try that and usually, unless I'm really anxious or upset, it seems to work. Otherwise I'm up til 3am.
Right now though I'm trying to decide how to pay back my downstairs neighbors. I want to sleep. It is 11:30 for goodness' sake & they are doing construction on their unit. Technically quiet hours don't start until midnight, but goodness, couldn't they have planned better?! Maybe when I catch the next round of mice I will round them up & herd them under their front door. lol nah. I'm just kiddin', but I am kinda mad about
the hammering.
hope you get some sleep!
