bast way to deal with the compounding pain

hi I am new to this forum I see alot of catigories I canfit into and understand as Ihave a few but my hardest is multifocal myoclonus with  et,s and  at rest tremors also alot of spacity,  has been a hard road but keeping head up but have recintly been having other pain related issues like TMJ and double leukoplakiaand swolen reinkes space  it seams Ill be having them lazored in about a mounth.Then the anxiety of the pain ,now I am hitting overload and not sure as what to do I take alot of meds for thease things I never have a pain free day and some days well unbarable I am told y nero to go to painmanagament am afraid I dont want no more eds and it has been made clear  that pain meds will star in as nerotin maxes out and  ultram I am going to have to do something this stomach will tolerate lol . just making a step been  needing to and indeared alot of pain waiting just cant no more I want a pain free day,even take a almost pain free day,                                This maybe old stuff forsome of you  but I just cant let pain rule my days no more but see I know the sooner I start the sooner the pain will catch up and the days filled with pain will be back               can anyone  relate  or am I wroung??? OK take a breath tonijo, it is going to be alright.

First of all, welcome to the forum. I'm glad you posted. I have to admit though, that I had to read it through twice, slowly. It is a hard read for me.

I understand that you were advised to see a pain management specialist. What is swollen reinkes space Please?? Remember pain management doctors can do more than prescribe medications. Make sure you have a good doctor who listens to you. Most of them are good, but once in a while you hear of one that does not pay attention and this can cause severe frustration for you and you don't need that. Right??

I can relate to your pain for sure. I have bad bad pain in my feet and legs every single day and I take percocet and lyrica every day to combat that pain. I never set out to take percocet every day, but it helps and that is what I have to do to combat the painful times.

So you hang in there and don't get ahead of yourself before you check out your pain management doctor. He or she just may help you out. I hope so and am sending a prayer for everything to turn out to be helpful. God bless and keep us posted on what happens ok?? We really do care.

Hi Tonijo2; I too want to welcome you to our little group. We seem to be growing more and more each passing day and some days it is hard to keep up with the new people that come to get answers here. I sometimes don't catch the new posts and to those that I have not caught I apologize and say Hello and welcome to HW. I want to reassure you Tonijo2 that you are not alone here. There are many of us living with pain, whether it be in our backs like me or whether it be in our faces like you or other places. There are some here that have multiple conditions that they are dealing with and some are just so messed up that my heart just breaks thinking of what they deal with each day. But the one thing that we all share together is that we all have pain and that each one of us are looking for other that are in pain to share our experiences....our thoughts and our frustrations with. You have come to a place that can give you lots of help in this. We laugh.....we cry.....we get silly....we vent and we lean on one another when the times are really tough.

I hope that you will stay and we can help you find the answers that you are looking for as well as we can get to know you. Keep posting as you go along and I hope you find the best Pain management doctor that you can find to help you find the right course of pain meds that work for you. :-)

thanks for your reply yes lindaloo I am kinda going fast but surgery coming up and decisions I cant put off no more .thanks for sharing and takeing some time for me .The reinke,s edma ia a swollen space by voical cord fold so with this I will also go through a voice change. The multi focal myoclonus hits my legs the worse and feet with rls here to keep me company too, but yea it is good to slow down a bit and make clearer desicions this vocal cord thing has me stired up and 2 conflicting dxe's always a bummer lol  well its a hard decision and it also has 2 patches of leukoplakia that must come off vocal cords pre cancer ,abnormal cells.  ty for your time it is well appreacheaded and I am sorry about the typing , not so good at it as it seams lol Tonijo2

scared for life,thanks for your reply and insite I see you both have walked the path I am getting ready to go down but just one pain free even almost painfree day I ll take it I am tired of fighting to hold out longer I will see pain managament but am also asking alot of questions and alternatives. nice to meet you to I know I have a way to go just glad I have some here that understand ty for that a regreted ty, but will be needing alot of understanding as having a hard time myself giving into it but like I said a day without alot of pain Ill take for sure lol, thankyou again Tonijo2     ps sis has morphine pain pump in for her back. same with her surgary went wroung now no good doc will touch her. s/l section too thanks again Tonijo2
