Shannon,
Give it time. You are not 2 weeks post-op. I would imagine from what you described you were a mess inside, this does make a difference, especially cutting thru the mess, ok. My sisterinlaw had alot of pain also afterwards because of endo and by week three she was much, much better. Her dr said when he opened her up she was a total mess, the endo was attached to her bowels and there much more cutting involved than what he originally thought. In fact, he apologized to her afterwards because before surgery she suffered terrible gut wrenching pain from time to time du to the endo. When you need to get up & down, sneeze or cough, hold a bed pillow to your tummy and apply light pressure. It really helps, they showed me how to do this in the hospital the first thing. Walking is one of the best things you can do to get your strength back.
Take good care of yourself and don't push it, you will only pay for it. I sure hope you have not thrown a hernia. I have one and am waiting to get my health in better shape before having it fixed.
I had my spay job done back in 1987 for fibroids. I had the open surgery, but mine wa done down low across called a bikini line. As if I needed to be in a bikini, lol. I do know if they cut you up & down, its much rougher to recover from-don't know how you were cut.
Just hang it there and pamper yourself. I imagine things were pretty bad in there so keep that in mind. Hugs....Susie (keep an eye on the depression-I always got a little depressed after any surgery-don't know why, but it always went away).
