Oh my heavens!! I decided to take a nice long soak in the tub tonight. My bath tub is sunk low enough to where when I lean back and lay back into the water it is almost as though I am laying in one of those old style claw type tubs with the sloped backs. I bought some English Lavender Body Soak by Village Naturals. This is made from dead sea salts and has a wonderful lavender scent to it. One palmful is all you need under the tap while you are filling the tub and the stress of the day just melts away from you. I spent 20 min laying there in heaven with the aroma of lavender filling my senses and calming every nerve in my brain to a crawl. And my skin feels so soft!

Anyway...just thought I'd give you ladies a little tidbit for relaxation. LAVENDER!!!!!

I found myself melting just reading your description! I love the smell of lavender. Someone gave me a tiny bottle of hand cream - some super expensive stuff - with lavender in it. I use it occasionall just before I go to bed and smell my hands! I don't know where she got it, but I don't think I could afford it anyway.

It is so soothing!

I have some of that bath and body works lavander camomille and it's the exact same thing! I use the lotion too and the scent then gets on either my sweats or jams and smells good all night! I love it

Oh, I just love lavender! I have an aromatherapy candle & I always burn it with lavender essential oils. I also have lavender lotion that I love & a lavender room/bed spray! I think lavender is definitely one of the most relaxing smells!

You can get this at Wal-mart my CPers and its really not that expensive. about 5 bucks for a bottle that is going to last you quite a while cause you only put a palmful into your hand and sprinkle it into your water as the water is running. It comes in a 31 ounce container and I only used very little last night when I took my bath last night. I am going to take a bath here in a little bit to relax and will use it again to see if it will relax me enough to where I can sleep some more tonight.

OH 'yES Scarred! I actually have them to! I love taking baths, and will usually use candles also. Sometimes i add a drop or two of baby oil also to the bath (DON"T SLIP WHEN GETTING OUT). I still have probally a few months before i can take a bath after this darn hysterectomy, so i'll just have to daydream!

I looked at my tub and thought of cleaning it ... I headed for the shower
and my new bottle of Peach body lotion.

Shannon; Just used up my black cherry scented candle so I bought me vanilla scented one so I can't wait to take my bath tonight....oh hell who needs to wait until tonight hehehehehe. I'm loving my rub a dub tub now ha ha ha!
