kttn, I know how you feel. A couple years ago I was sick with severe stomach pain and vomiting so I went to the ER at like 3am cause I was vomiting for 10 hours straight (of course by then nothing was coming up so it hurt even more) and I told the triage that I was taking methadone (because they needed to know of course) and the doctor walked in my room and the first thing out of her mouth was "we dont do refills on methadone here". i was so mad cause I wasnt there for no refills, I was there cause I couldnt stop vomiting and I have a history of pancreatitas because I have pancreatic divisum which is a scary thing to have. They finally gave me something for nausea after waiting 6 hours, which for some reason didnt work. So I was laying there still vomiting and the doctor came back in saying that my tests where negative for pancreatitas and said there was nothing else they could do and discharged me, even though I was vomiting while she was talking to me. And I really beleived that they would have treated me better if it wasnt for the methadone I was on, because she gave me a big lecture on pain meds. I never once said I needed any refills or asked for anything for pain eventhough I did tell them that my pain on the pain scale was high, but obvously couldnt care less. I felt like it was torture, and still scares me til this day if that ever happens again eventhough I'm not taking methadone anymore, taking Suboxone sometimes can bring a whole set of it's own problems with it. But I hope you get better, being in pain and being treated like a criminal for it just isnt fair!!
