edt aka Patti,
My pain doctor did not know of another doctor besides the one he goes to. Apparently,
he has heart trouble and he trusts his doctor. So, with this trust in mind, he sends
me to a cardiologist. I sure don't think he suspects I have heart trouble because of my
shoulder and neck pain. It will probably mean a few more tests.
Well, ME, I did have a primary care doctor, but I fired him. You see, he sent me to
have a colonoscopy because I have a pain in my SHOULDER. (Ever hear of a constipated
shoulder?)
Now my very own trusted Pain Doctor send me to a cardiologist for a pain in my
SHOULDER. (Ever hear of someone dying of a shoulder attack?)
A girls' gotta do whatta girls' gotta do. I'll go to the heart doctor.
Think about
this part: My pain doctor will read my MRI's (and all those other
tests) That's a good thing because he does not profit from giving me surgery.
If an orthopedic surgeon should read my MRI, he could probably find all sorts of
problems to cut on.
