I know what you mean about
going to sleep in the banging and the noise. The Mri
kind of does it to me.
I can't sleep unless the TV is on. (and on pretty loud) When I go fast forward on the TV,
I'm out like I've been switched to OFF. I think it's a kind of hypnosis.

I think I'm getting the IV because my pain doctor ordered the MRI. (My very very
good pain doctor. My blessed pain doctor. My singing, drumming pain doctor.)
Musicians are kind people, I think.
A pain doctor is the one to ask when you are bordering on having surgery. Surgery
is rough and sometimes pain doctors can find another way. If surgery is NECESSARY,
the will tell you. If you're borderline, they'll help you. (This has happened to me
before)
