I have been a member of the FMS forum for a few years. I decided to read remarks on this forum and realized I should have been here as well.

I'm 48 years old. I have Degenerative Joint disease, degenerative disc disease, osteo arthritis throughout by body, Fibro, 7 herniated disks, hypertension, depression and anxiety.

I am in pain 24/7.

I have been on the medication roller coaster ride for years. Trying differnt combos .

Finally get the right mix and then out the blue something not working but which one?

Living in Michigan doesn't help my conditions. We get all 4 seasons in a day.

I am looking forward to the support from this forum as well as the support I've gotten from the fibro forum.

I am also a forum jumper. I started here and recently had to start going to the Diabetes forum. Just diagnosed 3 weeks ago with Type 2...

We are glad to have you, but not glad you have pain... You mentioned that the pain med combo isn't working for you....Could you elaborate? What are you taking? I also have DDD, Spinal Stenosis,and other things. I have had 2 back surgeries, one of them was spinal fusion (I wish I had waited on that one).

There are so many great people here that can give you some very good advice or just listen when you need to talk or vent.. We all vent..

Welcome to the CP part of the forum, but like "me' said we're sorry you have pain. I usually post a longer welcome, but I'm a bit out of it right now, but I did want to say hello.

And I live in PA - the part where we can have all 4 seasons in a day but of late it's just been cold!!

Let me also extend a very warm Welcome to you, this forum is the best! The people here are the most caring and compassionate folks I think I have ever met! I honestly don't think you will ever regret coming here! I do wish that you did not have a reason to visit here, I wish that for everyone that comes here, but I am happy that you found us!

I was going to tell you that I am from Illinois and we also have weather with 4 seasons in one day, plus a bankrupt state with a history of crooked governors. But with you being from Michigan ( I have many cousins that live there) I am sure you know all about living in a state with problems!
