I definitely have enough M&M's to share, but alas, you'll have to settle for the milk chocolate! I think that's a great idea - tell my GI doc that the chocolate is for medicinal purposes. Course considering the acid reflux has only started worsening since I went to town on the M&M's nightly that might be a tough sell. Think he'll buy it?

Maybe we shoud invent a heating pad jacket. That way it would cover the entire upper portion of our body! I have all different sizes, but ruined one by sitting on it (don't think they're all meant to sit on directly!). Then there's the challenge of tryiing to get it to stay on your lower back while you're sitting watching tv and every time you move it slides down.

Oh, well, we'll all figure it out one of these days. I'll be we could all create a catalog of things that would sell and WORK because we'd be a great test audience!

Does your roommate have sleep apnea? That might be a reason for her snoring, maybe she should have a sleep study done and if she has sleep apnea they can put her on a CPAP machine and then you would both sleep better!

I'm with you on the dark chocolate! I absolutely love lindt dark chocolate, but they are so darn expensive, and I as much as I want to keep them all to myself, I can't not share them with my children, so on the rare occasion that I get them, they are gone in no time.

I also can not survive without my heating pad, except I burned my hip real bad with it a couple of days ago. It has settings 1 - 5, and I never turn it up higher than a 2 because I burned myself badly once before. I think it may have been because I was wearing a thin nightshirt as opposed to the heavier weight pj's I've been wearing all winter. It's a big batch of blisters now which I'm treating with triple antibiotic ointment. I feel so stupid because I just gave advice to someone else who did the same thing about a week ago on this forum. Oh well, I'll chalk it up to a "blonde moment".

Whitebeard, I'm sorry you are feeling so badly, you are so much support to all of us, and I realized you don't say too much about how you are feeling day to day. I hope you are feeling better.

I will go shopping tomorrow for all the best dark chocolate I can find, including M&M's! Then we can eat that instead of popcorn as we watch our late night DVD or TV or whatever. Or with the popcorn. And anything else we think up!

Let me know what movies you want me to pick up while I'm out!

White Beard, I've also been wondering how you're doing, with emotional as well as physical pain. I know you're going through a lot of changes.

That means allot to me! I do appreciate your concern, but you know you are also going through allot of changes, and I know it must also take its toll on you emotionally too! The uncertainty of it all, is not an easy load to bare! And you are another one who does not talk much about how you are feeling. But you always seem to be helping others! I must admit I do worry about you sometimes!

Why not have both the M&M's and Popcorn with lots of freshly melted butter on it! Do you know one of my all time favorite "recent movies" is Titanic! what can I say! I guess I am a old fashion romantic sentimentalist at heart, I just love that movie!

Yep, I'm up yet again, partially because I'm worried about this head mri, not so much as for the mri test
as they have the doctor's orders for sedation, but just becasue what they suspect............and I've got
a daughter graduating from High School this year so yeah very stressed at the moment...........
Plus her party is in Michigan and we'll be going by car and it's a 1,250+ mile trip one way, so not looking
forward to that..................

It was American Idol night. I forgot. Oh, there are some good good kids there.
Simon seems to have some sort of neurological problem or maybe early Altzheimers.
And then again, maybe it's just an act.

I LOVE Adam, of course. The Junior Prom is definitely in order for us. I don't care
if he's gay. Not one bit. I'll bet he can dance. He's the new Elvis Presely. EEEEEE!

Moving can be exciting! I have done allot of it in my life, heck even as a little kid my family moved allot! My father worked for the Govenment, and there was allot of moving! But I have been in this house since we built it in 1990, going on 19 years, I had never lived in any one place so long! We have most everthing divided up, and we are boxing things up, so when we start showing the house, it will not be cluttered, I am thinking about renting a storage locker for a while, as I don't know that I will stay here in this area all that long! There is nothing really keepiing me here, except maybe having established Doctors! I guess that is a pretty good reason to stay, at least for a while! We shall see! I kind of, well it would be nice to move closer to my daughters family so I could see my Granddaughter more, I was even thinking about LaCrosse Wisconsin, I had lived there once as a small child, and it is only 60 miles to Rochester and Mayo's but it is Colder up there than it is here, and I really don't know if I want to be in the cold any more! I do have some decisions that I will need to make and I really don't want to make them! Because I really don't know where I want to live! As each day passes it weighs more heavely on my mind!

Yes Pamela I think the disc in my neck is really acting up on me, ever since that one day a couple of weeks ago, I have had allot of problems, I have really white hot searing pain in my neck going from the left side of my adams apple and throat up to the back left side of my head, it comes and goes, but it causes me to gag allot, and that causes other problems! Anyway I have bad pain in my left elbow and into my hand, this past week and it is very difficult using my left arm, it is somewhat similar as to what I had along long time ago before I had my fusion! So I am thinking that it just may be that bad disc above my fusion is acting up! I see my pain Doc tomorrow and the Neurologist the 29th. So we shall see, When the neck pain gets really bad I put my cervical collar on to stablilize it and it really seems to help!

Geesh! Is tomorrow doctor day? Or is every day doctor day for us? LOL
I see a GI specialist tomorrow. First time. Too many M&Ms and I know I'll be told no more! We'll see!

Wonder if we'll all be up tonight thinking about our docs? I hope not!

I hope it goes better for you tomorrow with your Doctor, maybe he was just having a bad day the last time you saw him? Let us hope that anyway! I know how it feels to feel that a Doc is just blowing you off! I hate that! or when they are patronizing! I really don't know which is worse! I do wish you luck tomorrow though and hope it turns out better for you!

PALady   you see the GI Doc tomorrow too? I am good for another year with my GI doc I just had my annual colonoscopy in Feb. I do hope your appointment go well for you! I won't say any thing about the M&M's  if you don't!   My Docs appointment is at 8:45 tomorrow morning and I have to be there 15 minutes early to check in and do the drug testing, and it is an hour drive from my house to the Clinic and a 10 or 15 minutes stop at McDonalds for my #7 Steak ,Egg and Cheese Bagal meal with a large OJ, for Breakfast I always bring my own coffee with me! Anyway I will have to leave home at 7 or 7:15 in the morning to make it there on time. Anymore I go to bed late and I wake up at 6 AM and take my meds and then go back to sleep till 8:30 or sometimes later! Tomorrow I will just get up, when I take my meds at 6 I suppose!

The Insomniac Theater didn't work for me this morning. I meant to
record American Idol. As you may remember, I NEVER miss it. Well, I
missed it.

It wasn't so bad though, I have about 15, Six Feet Unders to watch. Oh
the photography in that just so good. I love the characters. I feel like I know
them.

For those who know the show, Nate died tonight. My programs are not
sequential so it won't bother me if he shows up the next time I watch.

I don't know who got the boot on American Idol. It better not have been Chris,
Allison, or ADAMMMMM. : )

Shoot. It's 3:30AM. Why oh why ....

Drat!

It's 4:40 AM. There are a while bunch of registered people online now.
I don't recognize any of them. It's terrible. I'm alone.

White Beard: As you know I have lots of problems with my neck. One day I can
feel ok. The next I'm in misery. What causes this do you think? It doesn't have
to do with what's happening emotionally - it's physical. When I use the computer,
I ALWAYS support my left jaw with my left hand. Do you do that? My posture is
p-perfect. It's trained that way and it would be impossible for me to slump.
Weird. Huh?

Not too many years back we moved away from our stability home. We were there
a long time - like you've done. But after that, we got on a roll. Every year we
wanted a change of life. A change of views. A change of surrounding people.

This next place will have to be our forever after place. We practically took vows.
It's big. It's bulky. It's sinfully ugly. It's being decorated for us and I do hope
that was a good idea. It was NOT my idea. I didn't mean to get into interior
decorating! The good thing? It's littered with rose bushes all over the place.
You can smell our home-to-be from miles away. : ). The pink roses are as big as
my face, I swear.

I'm not sleepy. I napped today. It wasn't even long. Apparently, I just don't need
much sleep. I hate to sleep because you miss stuff. But what I'm doing now is
ridiculous.
