My Oxycontin approved by Medicaid...

I finally got my Oxycontin 40 MG approved to be paid for by my Medicaid. Full payment. I had to jump threw hoops to get it. Had to try almost every painkiller before they would pay for it.  They even sent my Doc paperwork, where he had to sign that I needed this medication. It was a big hassle but I won the WAR!!!

That's great, Derrek! It's a shame we have to go through so many of those hoops, but at least you had a successful outcome!

Just curious - what state do you live in? I ask because Medicaid is a state/federal program, so states can be different on some of the coverage. I hope to be able to be eligible for Medicaid, but may not be for awhile.

Im in Texas and im on Amerigroup. This insurance is in lots of states I believe.
