 i have been posting alot lately and probably will continue to do so bcause of all im going through right now. i am so very blessed to have stumbled upon this site. i have never met so many wonderful, caring people. i know, i have made some mistakes (and continue to do so, despite my best intentions) and im sorry for that. i promise i will try to do better. i just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you who have helped me and im sure will continue to do so. i hope from time to time i have been of some help to a few of you. thanks again and my best to all! cbear

You are more than welcome. This is a family, and it's a family of our choosing - not just the ones we got stuck with. There's no need to thank - me at least. I figure that's what we're all here for. I'm sure that there's going to come a day where I've made myself neurotic worrying and stressing out about things that I can't control.
In fact, I know that one of those days is looming in the not too distant future. I'm getting ready to do a cross country move with the DBF and 4 cats...by car. This is going to be a big move since I've never in my life been any further east than Montana. I'm feeling overwhelmed with it. But...I'm trying not to let it get the better of me.
So prepare yourself, the day will come around where I'll be sitting cross legged on the hood of the car tapping out posts from the laptop, and I'm probably gonna be one skeered lady.

You don't have to be the only one to watch. Even though I'm not terribly active here, I'm pretty sure that if I put out a "I'm losing my mind listening to cats howling in the car!" post that someone at least would see it. :D

I'm just glad to see that there are people who care about others. That's what families are supposed to be about. Especially the chosen families.

I'm trying to look at the move as a big adventure. Trying not to let myself get overwhelmed with the "out of my element" feeling. So, I'm trying to keep in mind that one of the selling points that I'll have when I get there is that I won't have a regional accent. Maybe I'll be bland enough in my northwestern speech that I'll end up a local news anchor down there. Stranger things have happened.
