Hello friends,

I just wanted to drop in quickly & let you all know that I haven't dropped off the face of the Earth nono! I've been trying to sneak on from time & time and see how everyone is doing, but I'm way behind on my reading & I really haven't had time to post since classes started a couple weeks ago. Things are just hectic at the moment. Hopefully I'll have the time & energy to contribute more soon, so bear with me! I miss all you guys very much! I hope everyone is doing well! I've been thinking about & praying for you all! Hugs to all!

I've been thinking about you, too, and wondering how you were doing. I had a hunch with the beginning of the school year things were hectic, otherwise I would have posted looking for you!!

Anyway, you need to put first things first. We're all rooting for you!!

Great to hear from you! I hope your doing OK with your eye!  Take care of yourself and study hard and "DO GOOD"  You know we are ( Like PALady said) Rooting for you!  Your family here  has not forgotten you, but we know your busy!

Sure have missed you and glad you've been kept busy...
Make sure to get your flu shot, I told my daughter and she just texted us that she's ill, way up at college...
I'm going go haul that childs butt over to walgreen's this weekend to get her flu shot....
she's 18 and things still go in one ear and out the other....
anyways posts when you can, we care...

Thanks everyone! I miss you all! Hopefully I'll be around more soon -- just need to get myself adjusted, I feel like I don't have my head in the game yet, so everything is taking even more time & effort.

Char, I got my flu shot today! My school is great. They always offer free flu shots to students, faculty, & staff. I jumped at the first chance I could to get it. Lots of people are already sick around here! I certainly don't need the flu on top of everything else! The school is trying to procure swine flu vaccinations for the entire campus as well. We'll see what happens, but if they do get it I'll probably get one of those too. Needles?! No big deal when you're a CP patient!!

Hi Skeye, really happy to hear from you too, make sure you pace yourself with your studies. I feel like a mother hen!!! But do look after yourself and best of luck for a good year ahead, this is your last one isn't it? I'm sure you'll enjoy it as the subjects are more specialised into your areas of interest. I always enjoy teaching third years or honours students for the same reason, they're motivated and really interested, makes for a good year all round.

I'm glad to hear your back at school, I was pretty worried about you this summer thinking that you may have to take some time off this fall w/ all your eye pain and no answers. I'm so proud of you with all your courage and strength to go forward the way you always do. They can't keep us old swimmers down> can they??? Anyone who has swam over 10,000yards in a day can do just about anything! Hmm, or was that 15,000yards??? it was a long time ago>LOL!!
