PALady
After reading your post I just had to add my two cents, This topic of being early, late, or just on time for an appointment, was always a point of contention??? between the spouse and me! She was one to always get some where either right at the last minute or a couple of minutes late! Heaven help you if you were to arrive early and then have to wait! Anyway this was always something that drove me "NUTS" Now remember I am from a 20 year plus military back ground, and the name of the game in the military was "hurry up and wait!" Even in basic training everything was a rush, you rushed to get ready to get into formation, you rushed to march over to the chow hall in the formation, you got to the chow hall and then stood in formation for over an hour waiting to go in to eat your meal. You were rushed to eat your meal for others could come in and eat theirs, starting to get the picture? Anyway I am always one that wants to get to an appointment early, admittedly sometimes, ( maybe even most times) it just means a longer wait to see the Doctor, but that is not always the case, there has been allot of times, especially with my pain Doctor, that I have gotten there early as much as a half hour to 45 minutes early, and I would check in and low and behold I would be called back and sometimes I would even be done with my appointment, before the time I was actually scheduled for it! Anyway I am one that is usually always early for an appointment!! That even includes church on Sundays, but they have never started mass early because I am there waiting ! Smile,
