Gum Grafting Surgery-All done!!

Well it's done. She covered over three teeth. I asked for lots of freezing so the procedure was fine. i was pretty sore when the freezing was out. I used some ice and ice to my head of course for that pain. So it was an "in bed all day". Apparently its the 4th day that can be the worse. We'll see what the next days bring. i hope I can sleep ok tonight.

Hi Suzzane,

I'm glad to hear that things went smoothly & the procedure wasn't too painful -- hopefully it stays that way! I know tooth/gum pain is the last thing you need on top of your normal head pain! Hang in there & take it easy!

Glad to hear it's behind you now. I know ice helped me when I had gum surgery. Post to us when you feel up to it.

Ouch Suzanne! I'm glad that it's done but I can't imagine and honestly don't want to. I don't like dentists anyway and having what you are having, would make me run far and fast.....You are truly brave and courageous....

Thanks for all your get well wishes. I was quite anxious when I went in yesterday. I am turned off right away but that smell that dentist office's have. it make me feel sick. Anyway i felt like I needed someones hand to hold for the procedure. i told her to load me up with freezing. Back home i loaded up on ice for my head and my cheek. More pain when the freezing came out. Today has been bearable.
I go next week for suture removal. And so it is all done. More to be done down the road. Sat in the sun for two hours today to boost my morale then in bed. No changes in the headache pain. It is horrible. Is this how it will be?
