As I read your post I thought of another option for dental care--dental schools. Look in/around your area and see if there are any dental schools, they need patients to train on. Sounds scary, but if all you do is get your teeth cleaned a couple of times a year it's worth it. Most low income people or people w/o insurance let regular cleanings go, but it's one of the most important things to keep up with. Bad oral hygiene can lead to heart disease and other serious health issues. No, not a dentist, but that's what my mother was hoping I would do for a living, "People will always have teeth, you will always have a job!"
