Ya Know? If I had told anyone else that same story they would have been like....So? The only people on this Earth that understand what I go through are right here...on HW...and I want to thank all of you for making me feel so much better about my situation. I know that there are many many people out there that are far worse off then me, but it makes my day better to know that I can count on you guys and gals...
I am so very lucky..I had a PCP once a long time ago...and she didn't give any narcotics...I thought I was in for a bumpy ride with her to say the least...then, one day, she said she wanted to refer me to a Dr. she went to Medical school with...that Dr. is the PM Doc that I started off with at the same office I still go to.... It just goes to show you that when one door closes you might find a broken window around somewhere....ha ha
If it weren't for that Christian based Dr. I would probably still be searching for a decent PM Dr. and have been through several bad ones to boot....
My son Tyler is having his surgery on the 29th of this month...He has an Osteochondroma on his right leg, inside, above his knee...actually it's on his femur. They will have to cut part of his femur away because the tumor is made of bone and cartlidge and is part of his leg bone. YUK!! They may have to use screws and plates if they break the bone accidentally. He is getting freaked out and so am I ...it will be his first major surgery.
I will keep you all posted of course...and Thanks for thinking of him and me.
Rhonda
Merry Christmas to all...
