sorry for being gone

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that I didnt die or fall of the face of earth or anything like that. I have been having problems with getting online cause my internet provider is being mean to me, and I'm refusing to pay them til they give me a new box thingy cause mine broke after 5 years of use.  And to make matters worse, one of my wonderful children let a guinea pig chew through my laptop's charger and I just bought a new one today for $100 (seems so outrageous to me).  But I havent forgotten about this place, sometimes I sit their going into withdrawals over the internet lol. (if anyone knows a good place where I can get internet for a good price without credit checks, then please let me know).

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, not looking forward to the far drive, it;s only an hour and 15 minute drive one way, but it kills my back. i wanted to talk to my doctor over some diffrent choices in my medication but I always get nervous asking for a medication change. It's still the same thing (I usually take Suboxone for pain, but Subutex has come out in generic form, and it's the same thing except suboxone has naloxone in it and I hear the generic Subutex is much more cheaper) but I dont know if he'll go for that. Some doctors wont prescribe Subutex unless you have bad reactions to Suboxone or pregnant and I dont have either of those issues. But I can not afford to pay for Suboxone out of pocket anymore since my insurance quit paying for it on December 31st. Generic Suboxone is suppose to come out VERY soon, but it isnt happening soon enough. I wish medications didnt cost so much, it just isnt fair.

Well anyways, I just wanted to update everyone, hopefully I'll get my internet problem figured out soon, but til then i'll get online as much as possible at either my friend's place or my fathers now that I got a new charger for my laptop. I hope everyone had a good christmas and new years, mine was good. Talk to everyone later.

Hey Kitty good to know you are ok. Wow, I have DSL and have to replace my box every year at my expense. I get my box at Best Buy much cheaper than going thru the phone company like I have before. I know they sure don't last long.

Considering the ins issue your dr should be willing to work with you. After all its something out of your control. Good luck.

I was just thinking about you the other day & wondering how you were doing! I'm glad to hear that you are okay, but sorry to hear about your computer problems! I know what you mean about HW "withdrawal!" I could do without many things on the internet, but not email and HW! I hope your computer troubles can be solved quickly & that your doctor's appointment goes well tomorrow! I can't see why your doctor wouldn't let you switch meds, at least temporarily, since they are so similar, but who am I to say? If you can, let us know how it goes! We miss you here. (((((((((((((Kitty)))))))))))))). Hope the kids & all the animals are well & that you had a joyous holiday season!

Hello everyone,

Well my doctor said it was fine to switch but he accidentally called in the Suboxone instead of the generic subutex and my insurance paid for it!?! So I called him and told him what happened, and he said that when they stop paying to call him and he'll call in the subutex. So for now I get my original prescription, which is wonderful. He also called me in Noratriptaline (spelling?) and the pharmacist was worried about me taking too much anti-depressants since I'm already taking Wellbutrin and Cymbalta. The doctor is trying to get my insomia and anxiety under control, but I guess taking too much anti-Ds can give me too much seratonin and make me very sick, so now I'm scared. But the doctor said they're pretty low dosages so I should be fine....

But overall it was a very good visit with my doctor, the drive up their wasnt too bad, alot of rain, but it was snowing and very foggy on the way back so I was a nervous wreck by the time I got back into town, the I went straigt into my home and crawled on the couch and threw a blanket over me and slept for 4 hours, sometimes when I become too stressed I shut down and sleep, and that drive was very very stressful.

But today I'm doing well, I'm over at my friend's place using her internet. and later today we're going over to my father's house to bury one of my baby rats that accidentally died. Right now I've got 20 critters, half of them are baby dumbo ear rats that I'm giving away this week, I'm becoming overwhelmed with rats, guinea pigs, and degus. I told my kids that if one more living creature comes into my home, including a fly, I'm gonna pull all my hair out. But like how some people use cats or dogs to help with anxiety, I use rodents, espcecially my guinea pig named Bogart, he follows me around like a dog.
