Hi everyone, its off topic but does anyone know if you can take zantac and zofran together? I hope everyone has a low pain day.

you can call the pharmacy to make sure.

They work differently one is for acid and the other for nausea, I bet it is ok, but call to make sure.

I think merrygirl is right about this you should talk with your pharmacy about this. When ever I am in doubt I will either look the med up in my nuring pharmacy book or call the pharmacy, and since just about all my books are packed up now, I just call up, the pharmacy! You can google drug interactions and find several good sites to check, but I am often just a little skeptical about doing that!

I'd agree - it's always wiser to call your doctor or, in the case of med. interactions, often your pharmacist is the best resource. Make sure you talk to the pharmacist and not just a tech.

Antacids can sometimes interfere with the way a lot of meds. are absorbed, so they can create problems, sometimes decreasing the effectiveness of other meds. A quick call to the pharmacist should give you clear instructions. Sometimes it's just waiting time in between taking them.
