i wish the dr would call

I had a biliary colic aka gallbladder attack this morning so i took the med dr told me when i had an attack and that helped the pain now I have the chills and the fever of 101 dr said to watch this because my gallbadder could become infected. I call them around noon and still havent heard from them.  I took two tylenol for the fever after I talked to them and took my temp just a little while ago my fever is still 101. the tylonal is not working and i dont know what to do they are getting ready to close . The nurse said as soon as they heard back from him they would give me a call. If they dont call should I go to the er?  I dont know what to do.

Sometimes doctors don't sit down to make call backs until late in the afternoon or even early evening. But there should also be emergency instructions on their phone line; either a doctor on call, or instructions to go to the ER. I don't know what time zone you're in, but if it's not yet closing time I'd try calling the office again and report the temp. issue despite the tylenol and ask if they think the doctor will get back to you sometime today or if you should go to the ER. If all else fails and you don't get a call back, and the temp stays up you could go to the ER. I'd definitely go if the temp. goes any higher.

Watch what you eat - you don't want to inflame the gallbladder anymore than it already may be (like I mentioned in my other post).
