It day 13 post op of gb removal. I still feel im not recvoering like I should or bouncing back . I am still in alot of pain and cant seem to get all the trapped gas out  but  that is getting better each day. If only I can get the run over by the truck feeling to go away.  I also been experiencing sharp pain in my upper stomach like im being stabbed. I go for my post op appt tommorrow . I dont know if he will give me a few more pain meds to get me through or not . If not I have to go back to the old stand by ibuprofren. I will keep you posted and let you know what he says . I hope everyone has a lpd.

Everyone is different and the time it takes to recoup, varies from person to person! Just take good care of yourself! Write everthing down, so when you see your Doctor tomorrow that you don't forget to mention something! It is important!

Kimber Sorry to hear your not progressing as quickly as you like to . I wanted to as k you what your diet was like because its amazing how that effects how you feel .Since I started juicing 4Days ago already I haven't taken a pain med in two days , and I was active going out to eat and the movies .Also a rash I had cleared up and I feel better for sure .Just a thought but I hope your eating well especially recuperating , you need your strength and you'll get it from what you eat . Kimber, I would be careful with the ibuprophen since it alone can cause stomach discomfort. With your ongoing problems, you don't want to add to the mix. I'd think the gas pains would be gone by now but I do remember when I had my tubes tied that the gas problems stayed around for along time after the procedure. Seemed like the gas pains would never end but they did eventually. Like Mikel said, watch your diet too. Try not to eat any foods that will cause gas or bloating.

Take it easy, maybe you are trying to do too much too soon. Good Luck at your doctors appt today.

Thanks Bs. I have more than gas pain . I am also very sore like i have been run over by a truck.
