   Dear Friends,

 

     How was your weekend? It was busy busy busy here in the Henson Household! Though nothing would give me more joy than to vacume up all the confetti and easter grass, I have to hurry my achy, tired rear into the shower and race down to the new otologist today! I guess having a clean home will have to wait a few hours  smhair .

 

      Did you have a feast yesterday? If so what dishes and main courses were served? Here we had an enormus ham slow cooked with a dry rubb of cloves, peppers and sugar. The side dishes were sparse, just mashed potatos, cornbread stuffing, Zucchini, califlower and brocolli. With a Side salad and fresh bread.

 

     What is on your agenda for the week? How are you feeling after such a busy holiday weekend? I have numerous appointments, but it should'nt be too strenous as it is just "Introduction and initial testing" appointments. Physically I am spent! Though I would love nothing better to sit and make jewelry... if I have to walk around with confetti stuck to my feet a moment longer I will loose my NOGGIN!

 

       So, that is what is going on here in New Mexico where theres plenty of sunshine! What is going on with you?

P.s. The girls loved their jewelry sets, so much so they made adorable jewelry sets of pink and purple plastic beads! smilewinkgrin Lastest fashaion ya know!

Well it has been a busy few days for me. Easter was nice. went ti BIL house. No cooking here, but the body still aches!

I have my support group tonight with a doctor who specializes in Lyme disease, so that is stressful and exciting as sick lymies can be a rowdy bunch....lol

I have to drive to my new lyme specialist tomorrow. It is a 2.5 hour drive each way. I am going to throw up if I think about it anymore. I am driving a lone but
I get to borrow dads GPS!!! I Also have a friend on the way, that I will be staying with after my appointment so I dont have to drive both ways in one day.

This could be the best thing that has happened to me in a long while. SO I pray I make it their in one piece!! I hope I am not too sore either.

ahhhhh! the anxiety!

What type of jewelry do you make? I am interested in getting into some bead work. Right now, my crafting consists of stamping and cardmaking, and making tile coasters (either stamped, or painted/chalked, or papered, etc.).

Our Easter dinner was an Italian feast, with fresh bread made by my husband. My son and his lovely girlfriend were here, as well as my sweet daughter and my niece and a friend of hers. We all enjoyed playing some Wii and had a really great time!

Most of this week consists of various appointments and a lot of rest breaks built in. The weather in Calgary is supposed to be lovely all week, so I'm happy about that.

We had friends over for dinner here... ham, hashbrown casserole, spicy zucchini, rolls, tres leches cake, shortbread cookies, and "graham cracker sandwiches." After dinner, we played 42. After our guests left, I watched women's basketball.

I'm dragging today. I'm achy, but it's not that. I'm REALLY fighting allergies, and I'm losing that battle. Central Texas really is the allergy capitol of America. Blech...

This week is just a get along week... teaching tomorrow and Thursday, and hubby is out of town all week. The boys need to get back into the swing of things with basketball, so I'll take them to the court a couple of times (and bring a book along). Nothing major... just another week... which is awesome!

Here in Ohio the weather has been beautiful. We got out the grill for the first time this year & invited the neighbors over to join us. We had steaks & chicken with butter noodles & deviled eggs.

I went to the PM yesterday for my monthly check up. Next Monday is my RF finally and am hoping for good results. At my next monthly visit the doctor is going to work on my left arm & shoulder which has been giving my alot of pain with weakness. The doc isn't sure if the problems are coming from my neck or if the shoulder is messed up, so he is going to try some injections in my shoulder for diagnostic purposes. From where the tender spots are the PA thinks my rotator cuff may be at fault. That's all I need is another problem.
