Hi everyone, when I woke up this morning my pain was a little bit better . I am still in alot of pain but it wasnt as bad as it was. Im thinking  it will get a little bit better each day. I still have trapped gas though ughhhhhhhh. I wish that would disappear my worst feeling  ever. to me the trapped gas feels like Im having a heart attack which I know im not. anyways I hope everyone has a low pain weekend. I got 9 hours of sleep last night wohooooo. I usually wake up several times  a night because im cant get comfortable because of the soreness  and i didnt last night.

Kimber you might try eating cooked carrots and rice as well. I have read that they may help with gas.

I got some peppermint tea also going to try to see if it helped my gas.

Kimber, I"m so happy you're starting to feel better!! Keep walking as much as you can and swing your arms a bit if possible...it will help that trapped gas escape.

I'm so glad you got a good night's sleep too...isn't that the most wonderful thing!

So happy to hear some good news on your recovery:) Hopefully you will have some nice weather to be able to walk outside a lot this weekend....

Hi Kimber   I know we don't know each other yet, but I'm glad you're feeling a bit better today.  I'm sorry you're a slow healer.  It's so good that you got a good night's sleep.

I had my gallbladder taken out some year's ago.  I was a lucky one with that in that I healed really well.  I didn't have that much pain with it.

It's good to hear things are starting to get better for you. If you figure out anything for the gas pains please let me know. I always have a hard time with that and pain meds don;t seem to touch it.

Ok guys I will be 3 weeks post op on tuesday. it seems every activity I try to do makes my stomach swell up ,bad muscle pain near my incisions and also incisional pain. I just wonder how long before this goes away.

Bill,walking has helped my trapped gas feeling but made my other post op pain worse. I also find drinking peppermint tea has helped the gas pain. I still have the gas pains but it is getting better. I hope you find something that helps you.

Kimber, I'm so sorry you're having so many issues post surgery! I have probably missed some posts in the past few days because I haven't been on much lately, but does your doctor have any ideas to help you with your pain?
