Hi again. I agree that it really is so important when traveling to keep your medications with you at all times, and not put them in the checked in luggage. Sometimes when people lose their checked-in luggage, they never get it back! I remember being in an airport and losing my luggage and the airport had a huge room filled with suitcases that were unclaimed! I couldn't believe it! And it seemed that anyone could have gone in and taken a suitcase.
I don't even put my purse (which is pretty big when traveling) in the overhead bins.
I keep all of my medications in their original bottles. I only take enough for the trip and for a few extra days in case of an emergency. I bring a big purse that zippers, so there is no chance of the bottles falling out and there is less chance of being pick-pocketed. I know, it sounds crazy, but I like to be safe when traveling. My dad got pick-pocketed once when traveling abroad.
Hugs,
