No news is goo news right?

I have not heard back from Wyoming Workers Comp since we began this call to arms about the SCS.  I have been mentally cleared for my trial and have been sitting here for what sees like months waiting for a phonecall or letter saying that I am clear to go forward.

Welp, maybe soo.  I have a doc appointment on the 13th so maybe I will hear something then

I wouldn't worry too much yet. I know with insurance appeals, the insurance company usually has up to 30 business days to make a decision. I'd suspect that Worker's Comp has a similar policy. You might try calling them if you haven't already just to check on the status of things & to remind them that you are still there waiting. Hopefully they'll come to a decision soon. I have my fingers crossed for you! Having just gone through a similar situation myself, I know how incredibly frustrating all this waiting is. I'm keeping you in my prayers for a good outcome!

Thank you all for the posts. I do know that in my mind I really "Want" to prepare myself for this, but there is just something holding me back. I think its because I have thought I have been cleared so many times before and have been bombarded with things that they want me to complete before the SCS. Plus my adjuster has been completely adement (spelling) that the "Spinal Cord Stimulator does NOT work." in her own words.

So with all this in my mind, I want to believe that this is the last time I will have to jump through any hoops, but its just so dang hard when you have that kind of info. But.....I am here for all of you. I know that each of you are in horrible pain and if I can help with anything let me know. I'm just in limbo and driving myself absolutely nuts over this hehehe.

I am pretty sure I've asked you this before, and you've probably answered, but my darned memory seems to be getting worse over time. Do you have a good attorney working on this thing? Because you have been put through every hoop and then some and I think I've said before it's not you IMHO but just W.C. baloney. I could even see the positive change in you after you'd worked with the pain psychologist. There's nothing left for you to do, IMHO, but at least be allowed to try the SCS! And who is an adjuster. to say whether they work - he/she is not a doctor! ok, I'll stop now.

If they deny you now and you don't have a good attorney you need to get one cuz it's not you it's them!
