Scarred, How are you? My dr switched me  from ambien to lunesta 3 mg for my insomnia. I hope you have a lpd. I really hope it works because I have to pay a 60.00 dollar co pay for it because it doesnt come in generic.

Hiya Kimbers. Great that the doctor switched you to Lunesta. I sure hope it works for you. As far as me and the doc appt.....I will leave that for my next post, as it is lonnnnng and I will be venting

Scarred,I am sorry your dr appt didnt go well.(((((((hugs)))) I dont think I like lunesta it only produces a light sleep. But, hey I got sleep didnt I? I hope your pain lessens today.

Ya unfortunetly it does the same thing for me. Last night was horrible, got only about 4 hours of sleep.

wow it is probably because of the pain and you have alot on your mind. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I atleast got a full night rest . I dont like the fact is i can wake up easily. when ambien worked for me I was in a deep sleep and with lunesta its a light. with ambien when it workes i was out in 10 minutes with lunest it was 30 minutes. But dr says i could of been use to ambien cause I was on it for 2 years and maybe i will just have to be on lunesta for a little while and can go back to ambien. ((((((hugs)))))))

Yes I am the same way. I was on the ambien for a long time and did not feel like it was working. Changed to Lunesta 3 years ago and I think I am getting used to that as well.

I dont know what my insomnia is from pain or stress. I just miss the way I was 2 years ago that I could sleep on my own with nothing. I dont know what suddenly changed. I hate having to take a pill to fall asleep but I guess whatever it takes. I hope your pain lessens today.

Right Kimbers! Its the same way with me. I can't remember the last time I got to sleep without my lil blue pill. Hoping for a Lessen Pain day for you.

Scarred, Took lunesta 3mg last night again. I took it at 8:30 pm and it didnt kick in til around 11 pm. after that I slept for 6 hours but it was a light sleep so dont know if that counts lol. I know when I took it on Tuesday night I got 9 hours of light sleep . I dont know maybe I ate to late . I ate dinner at 6:30pm last night and took lunesta at 8:30 pm . I hope your pain lessens today. You should have been alright with the dinner time being 6:30 and taking your Lunesta at 8:30. One thing I have learned about the Lunesta is that if you eat anything before you take it or even after you take it, it will affect how it works on your sleeping pattern. I always eat my dessert late and have now learned to leave at least 2 hours of room there. What strength is your tablets?

I am disliking the lunesta. I am limited what to do next . I am just want to give up on everything right now .
