Hello HW family

Hello my HealingWell family , its been quite a while since I've posted anything, my life took a wonderful upturn and things improved for me . I have just tried to stay low-key and be supportive to all great folks on HW who need a shoulder to lean or cry on sometimes . Well I'm still juicing every day , taking anti-oxidents , vitiamins and as soon as I finish the anti-biotic regimen I'm on I'm starting a probiotics program . I'm also enrolling for a meditation class and started oil painting again .Just trying to live life like a normal person , which had been unknown to me , I was a cartoon of life for most of my adult life , going thru the motions of living life but never really participating .My health challenge forced me to face myself , I could no longer run from myself and almost commited suicide in despair and fear, I chose not to and with the help of family and some very special friends here at HW , I am now doing ok .I'm still battling this cellulitus condition in the leg , that is the anti-biotic regimen , and I can't have hip replacement surgery until that condition in my leg goes away .But I have a positive outlook on life now  , and thats changed everything , I'm ok with who I am and what I've got and it feels good . So Tabatha , Stacey , Dani , Tina , Michael , Jayne and many other special people here , THANK YOU !!!! From the bottom of my heart and with all that I am , May God bless you all .

Hey Mikel...

I was thinking of you today :) So it was good to read your post... this is my first time on here in a couple of weeks - as you know I've dealing w/ my own junk....

I know how hard the days can be - but we just have to keep moving on, right? One thing that I really admire about you is what a good friend you are and how you DO support the ones around you so well. I'm glad you know that there are people here that want to do the same for you... so keep posting on the good AND bad days...

I'm glad you are being "pro-active" w/ your health issues... and really taking care of yourself. I'm glad you returned to painting. I love to paint... draw... be creative. I find every excuse to not do these things... but when I do - I feel new energy.

Anyway, I hope you know that you are in my continued prayers... that I pray the leg condition goes away so you can get that hip taken care of. And I pray for your positive attitude to continue, even on the tough days.

But, I am proud of you...and how far you've come w/ everything... and thanks for always supporting and encouraging me :)

Thanks for the update Mikel:) My new nickname for you is the JuiceMan!!! I am so proud of you doing all that you can naturally to take care of yourself..I just know that makes you not only feel better physically, but mentally as well.

You are a great example to those of us on here where we can sometimes think that just the Dr. or a certain medicine is the only answer to help with our pain...We have so much control over the things we can do to help as well..which makes us not feel so powerless over our own health!

I will keep praying for your leg to get better as well as those numbers to go up!

Stac - I'm so glad you posted :) You made me smile.... thanks for all the sweet words...and for hanging in there with ME...and all my constant worries and such. I know how much you are going through...and it just sucks... there's no better way to put it! So, please reach out...because you need to be supported through all you are going through...

     Good morning *hugg* It is good to hear from you. How are you doing this morning? Good I hope. Did you brother ever find out if he was going to be able to stay? I hope he was able to, I know you love him very much.

 

     Bumblebees and husband are doing good here. The girls are excited to no end! Between performances, feild trips, end of the school year festivities, florida and their birthdays in june they are barly able to sit   Husband enjoying his new lap top and buttering me up to get a new backpack, since his new laptop doesnt fit in it.

 

     I am glad the "juicing" is working so well for you. That really is fantastic that something so good for you but that you also enjoy. I am supposed to stay off the cafiene myself, but Ive relaped again... I love soda pop, what can I say?

 

     Like Jag I am curious what your blood counts will be. Youve worked so hard for you body that I hope you can attain a good count before too long. It will be such a relief when you are finally able to get the surgery done.

 

    I hate to say it, but the attack on your legg from the celluitis is being awfully stubborn.. Or am I just interpreting that wrong? You are only a few more weeks away from the end of your antibiotic treatment right?  How much longer before you know if you need to go to vascular specialist?

 

     I have to get going, I am making necklaces and watches for my mother-in-law and both girls for their birthday (All in same week) ..except when I was on last tier of my mother in laws necklace I found out I miss measured by 2 inches!.. have to start all over again   I hope youf ind a few moments to relax today. You are always in our heart  and prayers.

Hi Mikel,

It sounds like you've made some very positive changes in your life. I respect you very much for that. I know that changing your diet and lifestyle is not an easy thing to do. With any luck these changes will make you feel better both emotionally and physically! Keep at it!
