Hi everyone...how are you all doing today?  Me?  Not so good.  the weather here in Nashville is wet wet wet...and cool...so it makes my back, knee, and legs hurt more.  I am still taking Methadone and Oxy IR 30 mg.  I keep talking about changing meds but then I go to the Dr. and he keeps me on this same cocktail.  It just doesn't work anymore/ and my next visit will be with a NP so no med changes this month...

 

Why is it that we have to keep going up and up on our meds?  Or stay in pain?  I hate to ask for more because it seems to stop working anyway.  Oh well....the story of our lives....  After being on Methadone for so many years it just doesn't help and I don't want to go up because I already take 120 mg. a day....I mean, what's next?  200?  Then what?

 

I am in such an ill mood today I am sorry for ranting....I just hate being in pain....DUH??? 

 

I hope I am the only one feeling this way today....I hope you are all feeling great...

Rant away anytime, hun, sure wish I had
something good to help or say to keep you uplifted.
I don't particularly like seeing a NP as they know nothing about you, like your doctor would,
and I sure hate having to go in every month too, especially when they can't do a
procedure or schedule something...but that's our never ending stories eh...
my hubby is thinking of getting me an IPad so I can play some games on it in the waiting room
for my PM doctor as it's all ways a long wait, one time my appointment time was 1:30p.m.
I got called back to the room at 3:45 p.m then finally saw the doctor at 4:45 and got out
at 5:30p.m. maybe looking into setting up some money(a little each month) to get yourself an IPad...

     Good morning *warm huggs* It is so good to hear from you. But, gosh, I sure wish you were feeling better. The last time I was in Nashville it was fall and goodness the trees were georgous! ..but  the altitude, humidity, and cold front have to hurt terribly. I hope at some point you can get a little rest.

 

     Don't apologize for ranting! You know we want to hear from you no matter how you are feeling. *hugg* I am sorry you are feeling the never ending cycle of meds. I think we all feel that way deep down at some point. You are right.. What next? Another increase until you are high as possibly go. Then a switch to a new med, and increadibly painful 1-2 months till the new med is at the right level. ..horrible cycle.  sad

 

     Hopefully, today atleast, your body will let you rest somewhat. Stay strong and take care. You are in our hearts here.

Hey Rhonda girl , Sorry to hear your in pain and that your meds aren't helping as much as you like .I wanted to ask you about your diet , I was taking 6 oxicontin per day 80mg two in the morning , 2 in the afternoon and 2 at nite as well as 2 percocet same amount and same times .I stareted juicing , you know putting vegertables and fruits thru a juicing machine  and drinking it .As well as taking vitiamins , anti-oxidents and anything healthy I could  find like probiotics and virgin coconut oil , wheat grass .I must tell you in the three weeks since I've been eating this way I've used exactly 3 oxicontin and 2 percocet , in three weeks !!I also don't eat red meat anymore and Ifeel much better . I still have pain because I need a hip replacement and have a cellulitus like condition in my leg  , but its bearable pain , nothing like before .If your not eating healthy , I encourage you too , it will definetly help your body even if you don't get the results I did you'll know its good for you .Well best of luck to you , I hope you feel better soon .
