Getting disability benefits after a scs implant

i have been out of work now for 7 months, due to my leg/foot pain.

i have had the scs trial and am hoping that my surgery for the permanent implant will be in the next three to four weeks.

my question is..... had anyone applied for disability after having a implant

I've been out of work for 2 years now lucky for me im still on workmans comp. I have been looking forward though as it looks like we are about at the end of the road as far as they can help me. Have you had a functional capasity exam (escuse my spelling) or FCE? I know my doctors are talking about me being mostly if not completely disabled when there through (I have a scs implant) and that the first step was that exam. That is what gets you your disability rating. Its a long test that causes a bit of pain but as far as I know you have to go thru it. I hope that helps some. Good Luck
