Been a while...been getting ready for surgery...

Well folks, the final countdown is here.  I have done all of my pre-op, bazillion appointment with that many docs and other outpatient "have to" get done's.  My surgery to have the 3 level (c-5-7) fusion is scheduled for Thursday----am starting to get really nervous.  Seems like everyone around here tht has had this surgery done haven't had a lot of success, so that's not a question of whether I am going to be ok, but I am praying that is takes.  After this heals, then they are going to do the 4 level fusion on my lumber spine.

 

Everyone keep you fingers crossed....I need all the luck I can get...................just to get thru Thursday

Hey Finally best of luck , I know how you feel I'll be getting surgery really soon too . I hope you can relax and that your procedure is very sucessful , all good things for your future ! Mikel

Hey Finally.... GOOD LUCK!!!  A friend of mine had a 4 level ACF 2 years ago and she is pain free!  So, although alot of us here have been labeled "successful fusion patients" and live in CP there are true successful stories out there!

You are in our thoughts and prayers!!

Good luck on your surgery! You're going to do just fine! Try not to get yourself too worked up (I know, I know, easier said than done!). Fingers crossed! Let us know how it goes!

Thanks to everyone for your support!!!!  2 days and counting...they are going to call me tomorrow with my arrival time and surgery time.  I won't be getting out of the hospital till Friday...(they wanted to do it outpatient!!!)

Again...Thank you ALL for your support and kind words.....
