     Hello Mikel! I think you said the 17th is the day you go in for some sort of pre/surgery testing.

I know it is tomorrow, but know that you may be too busy to read some of the post, so I thought I would bring it up early. 

    Good luck to you! We will all be watching and waiting with great hope for you.

Your day is coming soon. Pre admission work tomorrow then only one week to go. I am so excited for you. Hope we can chat before your surgery. Thumbs up for tomorrow.

Hi Mikel. I too will be crossing my fingers and toes for you that all the lab work, etc comes out great so it will be smooth sailing to your date with the OR. Good luck. You truly deserve this chance to be living with less pain. Lisa

Already e-mailed ya - but in case you don't get it --- good luck tomorrow and PLEASE update when you can. I'll be thinking of you and praying that it all goes well.... you surely deserve to have this go smoothly and everything.

Hey Mikel...wow, it's almost here! How awesome for you. I just know that you will finally get some much needed relief once you get all healed up. So, what are they doing today? Update us when you get home pls. Love ya lots!

  Well I gave blood , a chest x-ray , an EKG , blood pressure , So I'll have to wait on the blood results and just sit tight , but so far so good . I see my regular doctor tomorrow so I'll have another talk with him and I seem shrink too so I'll have a talk with her too . But I'm nervously optimistic . Thank you all so much for your caring support , you've helped me so very much to get here ! I'll keep you posted , I love you all !!! Your Brother Mikel

Mikel,

You are so close to your big date. You must be getting excited (and nervous). You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm praying for a great outcome! No doubt it will be a long and tough recovery, but at least now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This time your pain and hard work are going to pay off!

ps - Are you having your surgery done at the Hospital for Special Surgery? If you are, I know you'll be in good hands. They are fantastic there. I've had numerous shoulder surgeries there & I absolutely loved my surgeon & his team. I don't think that there is a much better place for orthopedic surgery.
