Dear CG,
Good morning *hugg* I am glad you could stop by. It is always good to hear from you. I hope you get atleast a little energy back today... though I have a bad feeling you are still experiencing high pain.
LIke under, I too wish they had completed the MRI. It is important that your whole spine is looked at, especially with your history. Add in the fact that your pain has been so high for so long.. I could just shake them. I really hope they have better ideas for helping you with your pain atleast.
It doesnt sound like the dose of tramadol is helping. Have they considered upping the dose? Or adding in a muscle relaxor? I know a lot of people "read" the warning that comes with tramadol and being to worry before even trying it... but I take it AND tricyclics, muscle relaxor, steroid to name a few.. no problems from the combination. There are possible negative interactions with most all meds. SO, it is something to consider talking to your doctor about.
I completly understand about not wanting to see doctors. All year I have heard the same thing. "Why didnt you come in? This is important and needs to be addressed." .... All I say is "Oh yea, would YOU want to come here?" . These doctors, no matter how good or bad.. they need to realize that we dont have the time nor the energy, to see them constantly.
Most of all I hope you can feel better soon. Hopefully you can find a few moments to relax and get some real rest today.
*hugg*
