Okay ya'll I know you've been dying for an update so here it is.

It's a total mess!!!  I thought that WC was the one stalling on getting the results back from my last evaluation for the SCS.  But come to find out the problem was with the doctor that did the eval!  Apparently he did not send out a bill to WC and they were waiting for some kind of bill.  Then a month ago I finally got ahold of him and he said he would send it out and apologized all over himself.  Then he sent out the bill from last year and WC had already paid for that one!  So, with the new bill in WC's hand and payment on its way (according to my WC advisor) I thought we were finally going to see some results.  But I was wrong!  The psychologist only a few days ago recieved payment for the eval and is HOPEFULLY now sending out the eval to WC so that they can decide what they are going to do!

Talk about frustrated!  It has bumped my pain from the typical 7-8 to a strong and horrible 10!   So now I am hoping that things have gotten settled and that I am going to be hearing when I see the PA in Oct. that I am ready to start the trial.  Or if I need to get an attorney Now I can finally do that.

Anyway, I wanted to let you all know what was going on and I need some good thought to get through the next few weeks.  Hoping that ya'll are have low pain days.

Hello Scarred_for_life!

WOW!....so sorry to hear about the paperwork mess, but I'm more concerned about the pain level you are experiencing. A 10 is about as bad as you can get!

Are you able to get some sleep with this high pain level? I'm worried for you, and hope they can get it under control soon. You have a good PM for sure....maybe they can make an adjustment for you.

These nightmares of paperwork and insurances must be SOOO frustrating and so stressful, I just can't imagine how hard it must be to deal with on top of your pain levels. Why do they do these things!!!
Big hugs going your way, wish I could do more, try to relax Scarred, how impossible that is I realise, but all this stress definately is being detrimental for you. Hope its all sorted soon, golitho

I hope things will improve soon. You've been going through this papework nightmare way too long.

Thanks everyone! I do so appreciate all your best wishes and all. As each of you know that stress is a real hard thing to take when your in pain. I'm just as concerned as all of you are with my pain level up so high. I've talked to the doctor and she refuses to change my meds until all of this is resolved with the trial. UGGGG! It sucks big time!!

But, I am just trying to get through this all. I'll be okay everyone, just gotta hold in there until there is a resolution to everything. I bought a puzzle today thinking that it will help to distract me from the pain. But, even that didn't help and god I LOVE puzzles!!!! This one is a beautiful deer scene. Hubby even gets into them when I get something that he thinks is cool. So I know he will like it LOL!

Anyway, gonna lay here and relax for a bit.

Can you believe that a drs office failed to send in their bill for payment??? Good grief, now that is a good one for the books. Normally the bill is sent while the ink is still wet on the paper, lol. Keeping my fingers & toes crossed this all goes thru for you.

You have got our ears, and you have every right to be frustrated! So we are all happy to listen and share in your frustrations! I know this is trite, but hang in there! Things have to get better. It sure does seem like you are getting the run around allot, Are you sure your not in the military???? Your treatment reminds me allot of the way I got treated back in my service days! It was always "Hurry up and Wait!!" and there was aways delays of some kind especially if it was a medical problem! I sure hope you get this all approved soon!

hahaha WB! I remember that when I was a military dependent was that treatment was slow even in Germany! Now this was back in 82 but....I was doing laundry all day, going up and down 4 flights of stairs and by the last load I wasn't feeling well. Well, I started having stomach pains and by the time my ex got home from work I couldn't even walk let alone get off the couch. Well, hubby called an ambulance and they came and got me and took me to the er on base.

At the base er it was discovered that I was suffering from a tubalar pregnancy and my left tube had burst. My BP was dropping and I was in and out of it. The ambulance was gonna take me 2 hours up the road to Stutgart, but while they were loading me into the ambulance my BP dropped to 30/10 and the decision was made to send me over to the Krailshiem Hospital for emergency surgery.

I was there for 5 days, 3 of that was in isolation because I had one bad fever. If they wouldn't have taken me to the local hospital I would have died in the ambulance on the way to the Army hospital. So I know how difficult it can be to get people to do what we want them to.


Underthebus; The truth is ins. and WC don't care! They aren't in pain! They can go home to their loved ones and sleep well. Sucks but that is the way it is.
