seeking MD

I live in Redmond, Washington. I have MS and a lot of pain associated with it. I have been with the same doctor for 16 years. Now she is retiring. She has been treating me with narcotics. My pain fluctuates with activities - more activity - more pain. She has been great. I am terrified of looking for a new doctor - i know how some of them react when you ask for pain medications. any one have any good names? k

Thank you for you note - my physician is unwilling or unable to provide me with any referral...although she says she is willing to write a letter of introduction for me and attest to my reliability. I am just so nervous about this. I was a medical transcriptionist for 20 years and know first hand what physicians say about patients with my problems.
