Oh my goodness. I never even saw this post. You guys are the BEST!!!!!

As most of you know by now, the hearing went well and I have been told I have a fully favorable decision (with benefits for my daughter too)!!! WhoooHooo! The letter still hasn't arrived from the ALJ, but the SS office near here is sending another copy. The ODAR letter was mailed to me on the 24th and the one from the office near here telling me about the services for my child was mailed on the 30th. I got that one a few days ago and they were the ones who told me about the fully favorable decision. I honestly cried when they told me and so did the sweet lady on the phone who got to "give me the good news". The judge even determined I was disabled from the very day I herniated my back (a Saturday) and I didn't see the Dr until Tuesday. He was very, very nice to me and, although I had to answer some very personal questions, I feel like he spared me as much embarassment as he could.

I'm still waiting on the letter because I want to hold it in my hands and the internet site still says it hasn't been decided, but the guy in the local office read it to me again yesterday (when I started to question myself......just a little OCPD).
