Miss came home last night from the vet. She had spontaneous rectal prolapse and without the trip to the vet when I did would have died from blood loss. The vet saved her whole bowel and she has allergies to fish, seafood and corn! So now I am making her food at home instead of buying the expensive diet she must have.
She purred with us all last night, snuggling and glad to be home. The vet's office was enchanted with her! She followed the vet techs around yesterday and bonded with the vet that saved her. I am so blessed to have her back and feeling better!
The best part of all this is that I asked for help and it was given freely. We don't have extra money for vet bills right now, and the vet charged us 1/3 of the normal cost because of what we could afford. I cried so hard when I took her in and just told her our family situation and she saved my cat's life for below what we could afford for her care.
SO we continue to pray that this doesn't happen to her again. She must have been in tremendous pain and still purred and loved me up as she lay bleeding in my arms. Her pain tolerance is so much higher than mine!
Thank you all for prayers and thoughts for my kitty. She has been saved!
