Good Morning Chronic Pain Family!

 

 

     It is a beautiful Monday morning! Though I would love nothing more than to stay in bed and recuperate after a looong weekend.... it is Monday. There are tasks to complete, jobs to do and appointments that need to be kept.  

      Often times we are so busy supporting others that we forget to update about ourselves. So, before we get too wrapped up in starting out the week... Please, stop by and let us know how you are doing. Give us an update. We want to know how you are doing.

 Hey All !! Its snowed like crazy in NYC maybe 12 inches or more !!! Anyway my pain has been minimal since surgery august 23rd , its been womderful . I had problems with itching but I've since licked that annoyance too . My knee acts up now and I can't walk a long distance , but 4-6 blocks I can handle , so miracles are possible . If you need hip replacement surgery go for it !!! I hope everyone had a really great Xmas and has a really blessed New Year . Much Love , Mikel

I have another bug with nasal congestion, severe cough, and dizziness so my activity level is lessened. It was a lovely holiday though. With the coughing my pain levels are through the roof. I have my boys home with me this week for school break and it is nice spending time with them.

Tired after a long weekend. We have alot of snow, about 2 hours north of NYC. Thank God my Grandson and Granddaughter are here, they keep the walkways shoveled. Now it's time to make my mother in law breakfast and see if she will eat. She has dementia and I am her main care giver. So my day has begun.

hello to you all, i hope your pain level is low, i have alot of numbing in my feet  mad i have been searching for about 12yrs now i had a brain injury in 1991 fell into a coma. when i woke from a coma and had to relearn everything all over again, in or around 1996, i started having pain in my feet the pain was real bad. then it started travling in me, the pain is so great like i have never had before. went to many foot drs and nothing! the the pain started up my chins, wrist, fingers,hands. OHSU tested me, and nothing i never gave up hope and thank god for my computer just dont know if i would be around today without it.  i'am on alot of meds just trying to control the pain. i need a laptop cause alot of the time i have to come back and sit in the computer and that cause pain too. and the only place the pain has not hit is in my abs. so what i have is Central Pain Syndrome very very painfull!    prepackey

I've started having pain in my other knee yesterday. I feel so stiff and achy. My right foot seems to hurt constantly from the PF now. Both knees are stiff and achy I can't seem to walk much with them lately. My back is trying to go back to it's constant spasms again. Last night my shoulder and elbow were sensitive to pressure.
I see the Orthro next Tuesday about my shoulder to see what he says about the popping noises it makes and why it's so stiff.
To top it off I'm afraid I'm catching a nasty cold. UGH!
