Anyone care to share??

Just for fun, how about sharing one thing about yourself that we probably don't know. Maybe you won a beauty pageant in high school. Maybe you were picked up by the cops for throwing eggs at someone's car. How about someone who's lived in 12 different countries? What interesting thing can you share?

Trying to narrow it down to one isn't that easy and there ARE things I don't care to share...lol OK, here's a fun one...lol When I was young my parents and I drove like crazy to get away from the tsunami generated by the Alaska earthquake in 1964. We were camped on the beach on the Washington coast. We heard on a radio about the earthquake and that beaches were to be evacuated ASAP. Us kids went around telling other campers and the camp ranger. He didn't happen to believe us...too bad for him. When we got home and watched pictures on the news, there he was in his mobile home at the park, water up to his behind inside of his house. He was fine but the trailer house wasn't so lovely. Exciting times for a kid.

I was born on Staten Island and have lived West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, New York and Missouri. I am a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

I play the piano and organ. When I was 17, I entered a Regional Music competition and won third place; out of 1,000 competitors. I was tickled when I got the news from my Dad and even more thrilled when I was awarded my trophy. I haven't played in a few years so I got a bit rusty but I am in the process of teaching my daughter how to play.

As a child I wanted to be a rock star, a mystery writer, and a ballerina all at once.
I guess I managed to do them all together with the job I have-elementary teacher. I get to sing some, dance at times, and I create suspense with my lessons. Also I have a captive audiance. :))

Okay, this is not too exciting now, but was when I was younger... I played Soccer since I was about 5...when I was 11 I was asked to make a soccer film about all the tricks you could do...it was just me,my little chunkie self, and the camera and a soccer ball...It was neat...I never saw the film though...we were supposed to go to a screening at a pizza parlor but something happened to the film...Oh well....Then when I was in middle school I was one of 6 girls picked out of the entire state of Tn. to make up a soccer team to be in a Nationwide Soccer Tourney in California...that was cool...Girls from all over the country, placed on teams to play in the tourney for a week...I had never been to Ca. and that was so much fun....

Okay here's one for ya: Scarred used to be a truck driver....long haul. Well, remember when they had that huge earthquake in San Fransisco? They showed pictures on the news of a interstate that had fallen on the adjacent freeway and there was one of the company I was working with's trucks crunched in the wreckage. That picture scared me to death because I turned down that very load because my boyfriend at time (second ex) grandmother passed away and we were to be at a funeral.

My second would be that I ran away from home when I was 15.  I was in love with this boy that my mom and dad refused to let me date.  So I stoled my ex bf car, which was parked at our home (he was selling it) and took off for the canadian border.  We were caught 30 miles up the road after a high speed chase with the cops.  I ended up spending 3 hours in jail and lost my favorite jeans out of it!  Talk about a wake up call!
