Sorry, don't know what happened

It was cold here this morning below freezing around 20 f, that's cold in Houston, Texas.
and I was driving to my psychologist when my finger tip went numb,
my finger was really very numb and I was wearing gloves, at
the doctor's I'm rubbing it and it turned blue on the finger and it's tip, I've
never remember this happening to me before, my hands do get cold, but
today this was way different, it's almost better now just a little numb on
the finger tip, but not blue anymore any suggestions???I see
my rheumy doctor later this month should I tell him or my regular doctor?
It's supposed to be cold for one more night. (usually I have blueish or purple finger nails,
especially when my asthma flairs, but never had the finger turn blue)
Can anyone help? the psych said if it happened again to see the doc, but which doc, I see several doc's..
I'm multi complexed or special. Sorry about typos'

Raynaud's is a circulatory issue. Arteries in the fingers spasm, constricting the blood flow. Which can cause color changes, numbness and tingling. It can be idiopathic or associated with certain AI conditions. I have had Raynaud's for years and I have to take extra precautions such as wearing gloves in temps below 60 degrees, use a towel or mitt to get things out of the freezer, avoid cold water etc. It sounds like you might of had a Raynaud's attack.

Wow Chart, that sounds really scary! Please keep us posted, I am really curious as to what would cause that. Take care.
