I just wanted to let you know that I am still around. With the move, and unpacking, and my husband's graduation, and the kids getting out of school, and my oldest goes to camp on tuesday, then all three go on a trip with grandparents on friday- so Im spending a lot of time packing, and preparing, and planning.
The new house is a bi-level, so my legs are getting stronger, but thats where a lot of the additional pain is at. I have to plan my trips upstairs and down, and often just do without. My knees are now often worse than my hands.
Im still waiting on seeing a new Rheumatologistl, but i see the PM on monday to see how things have progressed. The pain psychologist I see once a week has really helped me sort out what is going on and how to live better with the pain. My Bipolar meds were agusted, and agusted again that messed with the pain levels, and the pain meds have been slowly increased over the last couple months, adding creams to the pills as needed.

Hi Christine, I remember chatting with you a while back. Glad to see you're back. So hubby graduated

with his diploma in nursing. Very nice. I believe you said he had a job right? where?

Your kids are keeping you busy eh!! LOL

Sounds like you are doing a bit better which is great.

Hi Christina....

Good to hear from you.  Sounds like things have been busy, busy.  How's your house coming along?  Congrats to your husband on his graduation, too. 

We have a bi-level house, too... I do the same - try to minimalize my trips up/down the stairs.  That's one thing I do call on the kids to do is the 1000 trips upstairs/downstairs! 

I'm glad your pain psychologist is helping.  Anything that helps w/ learning how to live and adjust to life w/ CP is a help.  It's really funny how our own attitude and acceptance plays a role in how we deal w/ our health/pain issues.  Even though I'm still as ill, I'm in a much better place when my attitude is where it needs to be.  Anyway, I'm glad this is helping you.

Let us know how your PM goes on Monday.... I see my doc on Monday, too.

Hi Christina, I am Kathy, aka nini53, I know we do not know each other but what better time than now for introductions.

I live in an apartment with my youngest daughter, she is 25, and right now she is in Mexico vacationing.   I know must be nice.  She and her boyfriend of 7 or so years left on Wed. last week.  He proposed to her in the airport.  She text me a picture of the ring, its beautiful.  I am very happy, I love her husband to be.

So I guess you can see I ramble on.  Let me stop.  I hope you are enjoying your new house, and congradulations to your husband.  It is mind boggling the amount of things to be done when moving, unpacking etc.  You seem to be doing alot, be careful I know its hard not to overdo, but you must take care of yourself.  All to quickly we can be flat on our backs from overdoing.

Well hope we get to know each other as time goes on, my profile is with my signature, feel free to call me Kathy if you like.  Hope you are having low pain days and many more to follow. Please be careful on those stairs.

       Welcome back Christina!            Just wanted to give you a good luck today on you're appointment.       Let us know how it went! I hate moving, and will never do it again without help from a professional moving company.
