masses on my lung

I don't know if I have told everyone here about the masses on my left lung.

I went and had a MRI on my thoracic spine last year and something showed up on my left lung. Well, about 2 months ago I had a MRI of my thoracic and lumbar spine, along with a catscan of my chest. I hadn't been told that the mass was even there. Well, after my pcp got the results back, she told me that I had a mass on my left lung along with two smaller ones, but the larger one was stable. It scared the daylights out of me.

I haven't smoked a day in my life, but my father smoked around us for years, so I guess the second hand smoke may have caused it.

Well, my pcp referred me to a pulmonologist to see what the masses are. I finally got up the nerve today to call the doctor and make an appointment. I know I should have made the appointment as soon as she gave me the referral, but I've been so scared.

My appointment with the doctor is July 5 at 3pm. I know it's about three weeks away, and that three weeks seems so far away right now. I know it will probably go fast like time has been lately, but I sure wish it would hurry.

Could you all keep me in your thoughts and maybe say a prayer that everything will turn out ok? Thanks

Thank you all so much for the well wishes and prayers. I really am thankful for all of you. I'm not as scared as I was. You all's support really does help. I really don't know where I would be without all of you. You're all so awesome. You know what I'm going thru every day and you understand where I'm coming from when I'm having bad days.

Yesterday was our 17th anniversary. We went out to eat for lunch, and my pain was pretty good while we were out. We didn't have much money to celebrate, but when we get more money, we're going to do more to celebrate.

Today is not a good day. My back is screaming at me. It's hurting so bad.

Well, I'll go now. I hope you're all having a low pain day.
